Port Hawkesbury Volunteer Fire Department new defibrillators

The Port Hawkesbury Volunteer Fire Department now has two defibrillators at their disposal. Fire chief Donald Macdonald says with an aging population in the community and the current strain on the ambulance system, Macdonald says it was time to take a progressive step forward.

Macdonald says during these pandemic times the raffle box draw is super important, it was the keyway they were able to fundraise to pay for the defibrillators without burdening the community.
