The Antigonish Bulldogs took a 3-2 series lead over the Strait Pirates last night with a 6-3 victory.
Bulldogs Head Coach, Donnie Grant, said the key to their success at home last night was to stick with their game plan.
“Last night’s game we decided that we would stick to what we know best and not panic, just play the way we know we’re capable of. I think we played a pretty good game last night.”
Grant said the team is most looking forward to continuing their playoff journey, but added they need to stay out of the penalty box.
“We’ve had more penalty minutes in all nine games, so we’re taking too many penalties for sure”, he said.
Game six goes at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre tomorrow night at 7:30.
