A hospital emergency department within the Quad Counties is closing for the weekend.
Strait Richmond Hospital officials say their ER will be closed Saturday and Sunday; they’ll reopen Monday at 8 a.m.
They say the closure is due to unavailability of physicians to cover the shifts.
You’re asked to go to the nearest open ER or call 911 if you have an emergency; you can contact 811 for non-emergency health advice from a registered nurse.
