The Municipality of the County of Inverness is asking residents on the Port Hastings water system to conserve water as much as they can.
The County says they will be conducting maintenance on the reservoir meaning there won’t any water reserves for the time being.
They say crews will be working diligently for the remainder of this week.
In order to conserve water the County is asking residents to…
not take baths and take short showers;
to not wash vehicles;
to not let your water run while brushing your teeth;
and to use the dishwasher or clothes washer only with a full load.
