A fire at a senior’s complex in Cape Breton has claimed the life of one person.
Cape Breton Regional Police were called to the fire at the 12-unit building near Mt. Carmel Avenue on Sunday morning.
Fire crews found a body inside one of the units.
Police say at this time there is no evidence to suggest any foul play in relation to the fire.
An autopsy will be conducted to confirm the person’s identity and cause of death.
