Survey Says Nova Scotians Most Concerned About Healthcare, Cost Of Living

The state of healthcare and inflation are major worries for Nova Scotians.

In a new survey from Angus Reid, 62 percent of respondents chose healthcare as a top provincial issue, while 61 percent pointed to the cost of living.

Tim Houston remains the most popular Premier in Canada, but nearly 80 percent of Nova Scotians say his government has handled the cost of living poorly, and two-thirds say they haven’t done well with healthcare.

Despite those reviews, nearly half of respondents said they’d vote for Houston again, while 27 percent would go with the NDP.

About two-thirds say Houston is handling the COVID-19 pandemic well, as most restrictions have been dropped.
