Saint Francis Xavier University Mask Policy

Saint Francis Xavier University is playing it safe, to minimize the spread of COVID 19.

Masks will be required to be worn in all classrooms, labs, and studios for the foreseeable future.

Students and staff in these rooms may remove their masks to speak if they are physically distanced. Mask wearing will remain optional in other areas of the campus, but it is still strongly recommended to wear them at all times.

When wearing a mask ensure that it forms a tight seal around your nose, mouth, and chin and that its multi layered for maximum effectiveness. An N95 mask will provide the best protection.

It is highly recommended that students get a vaccine, or a booster shot for COVID and to stay home if you are unwell.
