Former Village of Baddeck Employee Charged with Fraud

A charge has been laid against the woman that defrauded the Village of Baddeck.

The Victoria County District RCMP received a report last fall from the community concerning a possible fraud committed by a former employee.

After a long investigation, 36-year-old Megan Cooper was arrested on August 8^th and was charged with fraud over $5,000.

She is set to appear in court in October.
