An Inverness Co. First Nation man has been named a board member of Innovacorp.
Christopher Googoo is from We’koqma’q; he currently lives in Millbrook.
Officials say Googoo has helped hundreds of Aboriginal entrepreneurs in previous experience, and was a co-leader in the development of the Nova Scotia Mi’kmaq Economic Development Strategy.
The term goes until Sept. 2020.
