Boeing-747 Turns Around Near Yarmouth Due To Smoke In Cockpit

A commercial airliner had to make an emergency landing in Boston last night.

The Boeing-747 had to turn around near Yarmouth and land at Logan International Airport after smoke was reported in the cockpit.

Massachusetts State Police say there were 326 people on-board, and there were no injuries reported.

According to Flightradar24 online, Flight 403 was west of Yarmouth when it made the turn.

It originally left Newark Airport around 9:15 Atlantic time, and was bound for Frankfurt, Germany.

No word on what caused the smoke.
