Port Hawkesbury Paper Wind Holding Last Open House on Wind Farm Project Tonight

Port Hawkesbury Paper Wind will be holding their last open house for this week to give people a chance to learn about their proposed 130-megawatt wind farm to be built in Guysborough County.

This project is expected to help the company save energy costs and the projects construction is also set to create 150 temporary full-time jobs and five permanent jobs. It’s also expected to generate around 300 million dollars in investments

It’s estimated that the project will generate over a million dollars to the region annually. According to the project timeline the project is set to be completed by late 2025

The open house tonight will be held at Guysborough’s Chedabucto Lifestyle Complex from 6-8PM

This is the second round of open houses being run by the company as they held some back in June. So far, no major concerns have been brought up about this project.
