Funding for Municipality of the County of Richmond Project

The province announced today that 15 communities will be getting support from the provincial capital assistance program. The Municipality of the County of Richmond is getting over 40 grand for the Arichat sewage inflow and infiltration study.

Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables Tory Rushton says access to safe drinking water and wastewater treatment are vital for strong healthy communities and this funding supports important municipal projects to maintain and improve essential services for residents.

Over one million dollars have been invested this year to support water, wastewater, storm water, and solid waste projects.
