A possible amendment to Mulgrave’s fire prevention by law was brought up at their regular council meeting last night.
Council plans to meet with the local fire department to listen to their recommendations for the amendment.
The amendment if approved would require residents to use acceptable fire pits when having outdoor fires and would regulate the types of materials they could burn.
The first reading is expected to occur in October.
