Antigonish residents will have an opportunity to dispose of bulky waste items.
Items that will be picked up by the town include: kitchen appliances, furniture, barbeques with the propane tank removed, bikes, strollers, large toys, and lawn furniture.
Things that will not be picked up include: electronics, batteries, building material, counter tops, railway ties, or automotive parts.
When preparing your items for collection, make sure doors are removed from fridges and freezers and do not put garbage inside them and carefully package broken glass in safe containers.
The collection days are September 12th, 13th, and 14th.
