Should new pet owners get paid time off work…..PAWrental leave? At least one Canadian company is offering it!

A marketing company in Canada is giving employees paid time off when they adopt a new pet.

Talk Shop says: this paid time off policy will allow new dog or cat owners time to focus on bonding with their new family member. It will help them have some time to adjust to their new pet owning duties, and let their new ‘fur babies’ settle into their new home.

The company will allow 3 consecutive days of paid leave/year with the possibility of an additional 2 days.
