Town of Pictou Working Hard to Restore Power to Residents

Town of Pictou Councilor Melinda Mackenzie wants to assure residents that work is being conducted to restore electricity, to those that lost power from the hurricane. Around four fifths of the town’s residents have their power restored.

There are some isolated areas without power, and Mackenzie would like to thank those that still do not have electricity for their patience and thanks the clean-up crews for their hard work.

The hope is to have power restored to all residents by the end of the week.
