A presentation on the Richmond County Trails Strategy was shown at Municipality of the County of Richmond’s regular meeting of council this week.
Some of the key objectives are to identify ways to improve existing trails, and to develop new trails in the county. One possibility is to upgrade the St Peters Coastal Trail and make its accessible for wheelchair users.
The presentation also outlined the benefits that trails have in the community by proving opportunities for people to enjoy the outdoors and to get some exercise.
The Municipality of the County of Richmond Plans to approve this strategy at the next council meeting.
