The local humanitarian group has raised a total of $31.000 from their three main fundraisers.
One of the fundraising events held was a live performance from Mary Janet Macdonald and her popular online cooking show “Tunes and Wooden Spoons, raising over $9.300 for the cause.
The event that raised the most funds was their auction at the Port Hawkesbury fire Hall, raising a total of $16.600.
Funds were also raised through the sales of Bruce MacKinnon’s Ukrainian editorial cartoon making $5.100
Proceeds raised will assist Ukrainian refugees that are resettling in the province.
