Salvation Army Accepts Donation from Kruger Products

Kruger Products has donated over 30 pallets of bathroom tissue to The Salvation Army Maritime Division. The donation comes as people and families across the Maritimes continue to reel from the aftermath of Hurricane Fiona.

“It can be easy to see the costs of Fiona as being over and done with, but it’s not that simple.” stated John Bignell, Nova Scotia Emergency Disaster Services Coordinator. “If a family has to use money to stock a fridge or repair a gutter, then that is money they now don’t have for Christmas or for essential supplies.” Bathroom tissue is one of these essential supplies and this donation allows those turning to The Salvation Army as a last resort to save money that can be better spent elsewhere.

Lieutenant Gina Haggett says they are immensely grateful to Kruger Products for their generous donation and this support will allow them to continue giving hope to families in need.
