Another Atlantic Canadian premier is saying goodbye to politics.
Newfoundland and Labrador’s Andrew Furey says it is time for him to move on.
He has served as the 14th premier of that province since August 2020.
Furey will stay on until a new Liberal leader has been chosen.
His resignation comes days after former P.E.I. premier Dennis King resigned.
