The Town of Port Hawkesbury has selected Annie Beaton as its Volunteer Representative for 2025.
If you’ve attended an event in the town, you have most likely seen Annie there. She has been involved in many committees, including Festival of the Strait, Celtic Colours, Terry Fox Run, Tall Ships Festival, ROC Society, The Strait Pirates Junior B Hockey Club and so many more.
She is a driving force behind the Tiger MacKie Oldtimers Hockey Tournament, paying special attention to the Trish Little Division.
She is the first person to jump at the opportunity to lend her hands, hard work and expertise to events, fundraisers, sporting tournaments and more. She is also a true supporter of those events, attending, buying raffle tickets, and helping to promote.
The Town of Port Hawkesbury is fortunate to have many wonderful volunteers, and Annie Beaton is certainly one of the best.
