Antigonish will have a team in the Nova Scotia Senior Hockey League.
The franchise will play their games out of the Antigonish Arena.
In a post, the league says Antigonish’s senior hockey roots date back over 100 years.
Teams have also been announced for Truro, East Hants, Cape Breton West, Pictou County and Eskasoni.
Play is expected to begin this fall.
