Antigonish Town and County Preparations for Hurricane Fiona

The Antigonish Town and County Emergency Management Team is working hard to prepare for Hurricane Fiona and both organizations will be monitoring and responding to any issues that may arise.

Residents are advised to have a 72-hour emergency kit ready, clear their yards of any debris, and move cars off the streets.

As part of their pre-emptive measures, the town will close the Antigonish Community Dog Park today at noon and the Creighton Lane Parking lot will close at three o clock.

Town staff will be on stand-by throughout the weekend.

Updated storm information will be made available on the Town and County of Antigonish websites and social media feeds.
