Attempted murder charges after a stabbing in Springhill

An Amherst man is facing attempted murder charges after a stabbing in Springhill.

RCMP say it was around 9pm Tuesday night at a home on McFarlane St, when a 52-year-old man had been stabbed, by someone known to him, and taken to hospital by LifeFlight.

A 22-year-old suspect was arrested at the scene and will appear in court today.

The investigation is ongoing.
