ATV driver seriously injured in crash in We’koqma’q

The Inverness County District RCMP is investigating an ATV crash in We’koqma’q that left a man seriously injured.

Responding officers learned that an ATV went off Reservation Road and came to rest in a ditch late Wednesday night.

The driver, and sole rider, a 62-year-old We’koqma’q man, suffered life-threatening-injuries and was transported to hospital by ambulance.

According to the Mounties, he was then transported to a hospital in Halifax by LifeFlight.
