I love to read, always have.
I used to get in so much trouble as a kid because I would try to sneak a flashlight into bed with me to read.
I recently went to a Meet the Teacher night at my sons school and was pumped to see Goosebumps books in his classroom. He hasn’t brought one home yet, despite me asking….everyday. 🙂
I bought a Kindle years ago because my book collection was getting out of control. While I still love to hold an actual book, the Kindle gives me access to SO.MANY.BOOKS. (bliss) I have a Kindle Unlimited subscription, which gives me access to books for “free” with the monthly fee.
I’ve recently discovered 2 authors that I love and have read everything I could find from them.
Now, let me caution you, I read a specific genre – thrillers. Full stop. So, with that in mind, let me introduce you to 2 authors that I adore.
First up is Freida McFadden.
Her latest book had a great twist – her books are stand alones, so you can start with any of them.
The second author is Kiersten Modglin. I really enjoyed all of her books.
My favorite was The Missing. THIS was a page turner and would be a great movie!
I also really enjoy audio books. 99.9% of the time, if I have my headphones on (outside of work, obviously) I’m listening to an audio book. If you’re looking for Audible recommendations (thrillers, of course) let me know!
