Autism Nova Scotia Strait Area Chapter Organizing a Touch a Truck Event

The Autism Nova Scotia Strait Area Chapter is planning a touch a truck fundraising event for this spring.

Support Coordinator Natalie Stevens says the idea was brought to the table by a local parent after hearing about a similar event in Truro.

The event allows people of all ages to look at different types of vehicles like fire trucks, and construction equipment.

The event will be held at the 24 Queen Street extension on May 27th, and they are still looking for food vendors and vehicles to display.

If you have a vehicle you would like to display or if you are a vendor that would like to set up at the event you can contact Natalie Stevens at the Strait Area Chapter office by calling 902-777-1513 or email SA_RC@autismns.ca
