A former CBRM mayor wants the job again.
Cecil Clarke, who served two terms as mayor from 2012 to 2020, announced his candidacy yesterday in Sydney.
Mayor Amanda MacDougall announced on May 2nd she would not be running for re-election this fall.
Clarke also represented the riding of Cape Breton North in the Nova Scotia House of Assembly from 2001 to 2011 as a Progressive Conservative.
