Young hockey players are preparing for the world junior tournament.
Team Austria and Germany played a pre-tournament game at StFX’s Charles V Keating Centre last night and the arena was packed.
Manger of Facilities Kevin Benjamin says the two teams put on a great show. ” The mark that both these teams left in this community has been phenomenal, they’ve really enjoyed their stay here and the community has embraced them.” Stated Benjamin.
The 2023 World Juniors will be playing in Moncton and Halifax. The tournament kicks off on December 26th
