Update: Hwy 104 re-opened after two collisions in Afton and Havre Boucher

Highway 104 has been re-opened after two head-on collisions Thursday morning.

RCMP says the first was around 6:30 a.m. in the Afton area near Antigonish.

The second was just before 11 a.m. in Havre Boucher.

As a result, Highway 104 was closed from exits 36B to 39.

Officers were reporting reduced visibility and water accumulation in Antigonish and Colchester County.

Corporal Guillame Trembley tells our newsroom that anytime it is raining, even in the daytime, you should your headlights on in addition to your wipers.
