95 Nova Scotians have recovered from COVID-19

The province identified 21 new cases of COVID-19 on Saturday.

The total number of confirmed cases across the province is now 428.

Eight individuals are currently in hospital, including four in the ICU.

The QEII Health Sciences Centre microbiology lab completed 885 tests on Friday and is operating 24-hours a day.

Premier Stephen McNeil says the Easter Bunny is essential during the COVID-19 pandemic.

In a press release, McNeil said “I want to remind Nova Scotians that not only is the Easter Bunny an essential service provider, he is an expert in physical distancing and has been practicing good paw-washing since he was just a young bunny.”

McNeil went on to say if we continue to work together, we can follow the public health measures.

Nova Scotia has 13,632 negative test results and 95 individuals have now recovered and their cases of COVID-19 are considered resolved.
