You’ll want to leave yourself some extra time if you’re travelling across the Canso Causeway for the next few weeks.
Officials with the province’s transportation department say repairs to the approach of the Causeway’s swing bridge mean traffic will be stopped intermittently.
They say traffic control workers will be on site; you’re asked to use extra caution as you travel through that area.
Provincial officials say the work, which is expected to last four or five weeks, will be done between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
