Alicia Hall of Freeport was given 18 months inprisonment in the community, and is no longer allowed to own or care for animals.

The SPCA says they received a report in March, 2024 of two dead dogs in a house in Freeport.

Following an investigation, Hall was charged with two counts of causing unnecessary suffering, and two counts of abandoning two dogs in distress.

The SPCA says they’re here to help, and if you’re facing a tough choice when it comes to pets, reach out.
