Armed robbery charges for an Eskasoni man.
It happened Friday afternoon at a gas station on Castle Bay Road.
After he entered the business with a knife and stole cash, RCMP caught up to him nearly an hour later.
He tripped while trying to flee, and a struggle ensued, where an officer delivered a strike to the man, resulting in minor injuries.
The man was treated, released and booked.
He’ll appear in Sydney Provincial Court this morning.
