Lynn Hammond, the Vice President of Corporate Operations for EverWind Fuels issued the following statement regarding false reports that they will be using coal for their production of green hydrogen at their Point Tupper facility.
All energy used by EverWind Fuels for the production of green hydrogen will be from renewable sources. At EverWind, we remain committed to being stewards of the environment in a transparent manner, while delivering on an ambitious development plan to stimulate the creation of a new green economy and jobs in Nova Scotia.
EverWind will meet the strictest criteria in the world for green fuels, based upon the European Union’s definition of Renewable Fuels from a Non-Biological origin.
