A woman from Hants County is 1.4 million dollars richer this morning.
Kayla Eldridge of Falmouth was the winner of last night’s Nova Scotia Firefighters 50/50 draw.
According to the group, it was the largest 50/50 prize ever given away in Nova Scotia.
Eldridge bought her tickets in support of the Hantsport Fire Department, who receive a one thousand dollar bonus.
The draw takes place every Thursday, and helps put money back into fire departments and their communities.
