Reps with a local CBDC have received some federal funding.
Officials with the Atlantic Canada Opportunities Agency are providing close to $3.3 million to help the province’s network of community business development corporations.
The money is to help deliver the Community Futures Program, which provides small business loans, tools, training and events for people who want to start, expand, franchise or sell a business.
Guysborough Co. CBDC reps are in line for more than $303,000 of that funding.
