The first StFX athletes of the week of 2018 have been announced.
They’re both hockey players.
Santino Centorame, a blueliner with the X-Men, earned the male award after a four-point weekend; he had a goal and an assist in a shootout loss to UPEI in Charlottetown Friday night, and a goal and an assist in a road win against first-place UNB Saturday night.
Sarah Bujold, a forward with the X-Women, is the female athlete of the week after she also had a four-point weekend- a goal and an assist in Friday night’s road win in Moncton, and a pair of goals in a road win against UPEI Saturday afternoon.
