Four people charged with drug trafficking in Antigonish

Four people have been charged for drug trafficking in Antigonish.

RCMP say they seized cocaine, cash, and other drugs after observing a transaction in a parking lot on Creighton Lane on Tuesday, November 25.

They arrested a man from one car and the four occupants of the other vehicle.

The 42-year-old man was arrested and later released.

The 46-year-old woman driver of from East Havre Boucher, and the three passengers, a 35-year-old man of Paq’tnkek, 32-year-old woman of Masstown, and a 35-year-old man of Afton have all been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking (cocaine).

The 35-year-old man of Afton is also facing an Obstruction charge.

All charged suspects are scheduled to appear court at a later date.
