Hike Nova Scotia Looking to Promote Winter Hiking Events

Hike Nova Scotia is looking to partner with organizations across the province that are interested in organizing winter hikes and snowshoe events.

Executive Director, Janet Barlow says their goal is to help these groups bring people out on the trails and to help them promote their outdoor events on a large scale.

Winter hiking is very popular in the province and Barlow hopes to have good winter weather this year. Applications are open to organizations planning to hold their events between January 13th and March 19th. The deadline to apply is December 12th

Hike Nova Scotia is a non-profit organization that encourages people to enjoy the outdoors and the hiking trails the province has to offer. You can learn more about them on their website: hikenovascotia.ca
