A StFX hockey player has earned a conference award.
Holden Cook, a forward with the X-Men hockey team, is the AUS male athlete of the week after he recorded four points in a pair of road games.
Cook scored the game-winning goal in a 2-0 win against Dalhousie Nov. 29, and had three assists in Saturday’s 5-2 win against Moncton.
He was named the StFX male athlete of the week Monday; it’s the final weekly AUS award of 2017.
