Inflation at slowest pace in 3 years: StatsCan

Inflation is at its slowest pace in over three years.

StatsCan says the Consumer Price Index rose 2.5 percent on a year-over-year basis in July.

That’s down from a 2.7 percent gain in June.

They say lower prices for travel tours, passenger vehicles and electricity helped.

Gas prices were up 2.4 percent in July.
