The Municipality of Inverness County rates among the best in the province for financial health
It is one of only 6 municipalities in Nova Scotia to be ranked low-risk across the board and the only one on Cape Breton Island.
Taking into account the average rent in the country, residential tax is on the more affordable end.
And taxes are able to cover the costs of services and programs.
Inverness has had no operating debts in the last five years.
