Inverness issues water conservation advisory

If you live in Inverness County, you’re now being asked to conserve water.

As dry conditions continue with no end in sight, the municipality has issued a water conservation advisory.

You’re asked to help keep the water supply up during this time.

If you see a water leak, report it to the municipality.

Ways to save water include shorter showers and baths, running full loads of laundry and dishes, limit toilet flushing and using bottled water.

You’re also asked to avoid non-essential water use for lawns and driveways.
