Isabella Samson and The Town Heroes, Win Music Nova Scotia Awards

The Music Nova Scotia Award winners received their awards at a ceremony this past Sunday.

Isabella Samson of Louisdale won the Folk/Roots Recording of the Year award with her song “if it’s not forever” Samson posted her gratitude for winning the award on social media.

Cape Breton alternative rock band The Town Heroes took home two awards, Entertainer of the Year and Rock Recording of the Year.

The awards were a part of Nova Scotia Music Week a chance to celebrate both new and emerging artists across the province.
