Some major drama around the latest season of the The Bachelorette which was supposed to begin on Sunday.
Taylor Frankie Paul, the reality TV star and social media influencer who was set to be the lead on The Bachelorette’s season 22, has officially been dropped just days before the premiere. The entire season has been filmed as of December 2025.

ABC and Disney announced they will no longer move forward with her season after a video from a 2023 incident that shows a domestic altercation involving her and her ex-partner Dakota Mortensen resurfaced online. She appears to be the aggressor in the video and at one point, throws chairs across the room while her child is present.
I think it’s important to point out that the television networks were fine allowing her to star in both The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives & The Bachelorette fully knowing this incident happened – she was arrested, charged and pled guilty. So it’s fine on paper but when there’s video, it’s not ok?
