A provincially-owned resort in the Quad Counties has been sold.
Provincial officials say an agreement to sell Liscombe Lodge in Guysborough Co. to reps with Hearthstone Hospitality for $450,000 closed Saturday.
They say company reps, who own the Hearthstone Inn in Port Hastings, will invest $1 million in upgrades and offer employment to all the resort’s current workers.
Officials say the resort will continue its current use and operations until at least Oct. 2022.
