Rimouski took a 3-1 series lead in the best-of-seven, Eastern Conference semi-final after a 5-2 win in Sydney Thursday night; Ellis, who was the game’s third star, made 22 saves.
St. Andrews’ Declan Smith, Cape Breton’s captain, is expected to miss his third straight game with an upper-body injury.
