The Cape Breton West Islanders wrap up their 2019-20 regular season with the second half of a home-and-home series against Pictou Co.
The Islanders are sixth in the eight-team league; Pictou Co. is fourth.
Cape Breton West won Saturday night’s game in New Glasgow to take a 2-1 lead in the four-game season series between the teams.

The two local teams in the Nova Scotia Female Midget AAA Hockey League square off when the Northern Selects host the Panthers.
The Selects (20-0-0), who remain perfect in the 2019-20 regular season, are in top spot in the seven-team league with 40 points, three points up on second-place Halifax; the Panthers (5-10-5), winless in seven straight and nine of the last 10, are fifth with 15 points, a point behind EDZA West for fourth, and four points ahead of the sixth-place Penguins.
It’s the fourth and final regular season game between the teams; the Selects have won the first three.
Puck drop at the Pictou Co. Wellness Centre is 5 p.m.
The Novas play their second road game in as many days in the Nova Scotia Major Bantam Hockey League.
The Novas, coming off Saturday night’s loss to Kings in Berwick, are in East Hants to take on the Rangers.
The teams have met once so far in their three-game season series; the Rangers beat the Novas 8-3 at home in October.
