The two local teams in the Nova Scotia Junior Hockey League are in action.
The Strait Pirates, who are third in the six-team Sid Rowe Division, are coming off Saturday night’s loss against the Miners in Membertou to host the Eskasoni Eagles at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre.
It’s the fourth and final regular season game between the teams; the Pirates have won the first three.
The Antigonish Bulldogs host the Cumberland Co. Blues, who are last in the Sid Rowe Division, at the Antigonish Arena.
The Bulldogs have won the first two games in the four-game season series between the teams.
Both games get underway at 7:30 p.m.
The Cape Breton West Islanders host the Cole Harbour Wolfpack in game four of their Nova Scotia Major Midget Hockey League playoff series.
The Wolfpack won Saturday night’s game in Port Hood to take a 2-1 lead in the best-of-seven, first-round series.
Puck drop at the Al MacInnis Sports Centre in Port Hood is 12 p.m.
The series returns to Cole Harbour for game five.
Both local teams in the Nova Scotia Female Midget AAA hockey are on the ice.
The Panthers are in Bedford to play the Penguins for the second time in as many days.
The Northern Selects try to put the finishing touch on a perfect regular season when they host Halifax at the Pictou Co. Wellness Centre.
The Selects (23-0-0), who have yet to lose heading into their final game of the 2019-20 regular season, are in top spot in the seven-team league with 46 points, nine points up on second-place Halifax (18-3-1).
Both games get underway at 12 p.m.
The Cabot Highlanders host the Kings for the second time in as many days in the Nova Scotia Minor Midget AAA Hockey League.
The Kings won Saturday night’s game between the teams in Port Hawkesbury.
Puck drop at the Port Hawkesbury Civic Centre is 12:30 p.m.
The Novas are on the road for the second of three straight games in the Nova Scotia Major Bantam Hockey League.
They visit the Cole Harbour Storm in the third and final regular season game between the teams; the Novas have won the first two.
Game time is 11 a.m.
The Novas, coming off Saturday night’s loss in Halifax, return home to host the Rangers Monday afternoon.
The Halifax Mooseheads host the Saint John Sea Dogs in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Saint John has won five of the first six games in the eight-game season series between the Maritimes Division opponents.
Puck drop at Scotiabank Centre is 3 p.m.
The Mooseheads, who sit ninth in the 10-team Eastern Conference, travel to New Brunswick to play Pleasant Valley’s Jacob Hudson, Antigonish’s Jake and Sean Stewart, Beaver Meadow’s Ryan MacLellan and the Moncton Wildcats Monday afternoon.
